Location. With your permission, Body Kiind uses your device's location to find dining options near you. Location is sent to our server only at the moment you search and is used to query nearby restaurants — we do not track or store your location history.
Community posts. If you post in the Community tab, your post text is stored on our server along with a random, anonymous device identifier (not your name, email, or any other identifying information). This identifier is used only to prevent spam and to remember which posts you've supported.
Waitlist email. If you join the teletherapy waitlist, we store the email address you provide so we can notify you when the feature launches.
We do not currently collect: your name, account credentials (there is no login), payment information, or health/clinical data — the app has no active teletherapy feature yet.
Your search location is forwarded to Yelp Fusion API to find nearby restaurants. See Yelp's privacy policy for how Yelp handles that request.
We do not sell your data. Location queries are shared with Yelp (as described above) solely to return search results. We do not share community posts or waitlist emails with any third party.
Community posts are retained for 12 months of inactivity, after which they are automatically deleted. Waitlist emails are retained until the teletherapy feature launches or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. To request earlier deletion of your data, contact us at the email below.
Body Kiind is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
